Soon woong Kim Receives Commendation for Contributions to the IP Service Industry February 21, 2025

Soon woong, Kim, Managing Partner of Jungjin IP Law Firm, was honored at the 12th IP Service Industry Awards Ceremony,
held on February 21 at the Korea Science and Technology Center in Seoul.
Mr. Kim was selected as a recipient of the Commendation for Outstanding Contributions to the IP Service Industry,
awarded by the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property.
He was recognized for over 24 years of leadership in expanding Korean IP services into global markets,
nurturing professional talent through education, and promoting the commercialization of IP as an expert advisor for the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.
The IP Service Industry Awards, established in 2013 by the Korea Intellectual Property Service Association,
are presented annually to recognize professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement
of Korea’s IP service sector and to highlight exemplary industry role models
