The present invention relates to a sanitary toilet having an odor removal function including a seat cover, a seat, a toilet body, a water tank, a toilet lever, a toilet bowl, and a sewage pipe, the sanitary toilet comprising: a plurality of inlet ports formed in an inner circumferential surface of the toilet body; an inlet passage which is connected to the inlet ports and through which odor sucked in through the inlet ports travels; an outlet passage which exhausts the odor traveling through the inlet passage to the sewage pipe; and a control box installed between the inlet passage and the outlet passage and having therein an inlet fan and a butterfly valve which is opened and closed by a solenoid.
